No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Shared Website Hosting
We guarantee the integrity of the data uploaded in every single shared website hosting account that is generated on our cloud platform due to the fact that we work with the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one that was designed to prevent silent data corruption via a unique checksum for each and every file. We will store your information on a large number of SSD drives that operate in a RAID, so exactly the same files will be present on several places concurrently. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all of the files on all of the drives in real time and in the event that the checksum of any file differs from what it needs to be, the file system swaps that file with a healthy copy from some other drive from the RAID. No other file system uses checksums, so it's easy for data to become silently corrupted and the bad file to be replicated on all drives with time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you won't have to concern yourself with the integrity of your data.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
We've avoided any risk of files getting damaged silently since the servers where your semi-dedicated server account will be created work with a powerful file system called ZFS. Its basic advantage over other file systems is that it uses a unique checksum for each file - a digital fingerprint that's checked in real time. As we keep all content on a number of SSD drives, ZFS checks whether the fingerprint of a file on one drive corresponds to the one on the rest of the drives and the one it has stored. If there's a mismatch, the damaged copy is replaced with a good one from one of the other drives and considering that it happens in real time, there is no chance that a damaged copy could remain on our website hosting servers or that it could be copied to the other drives in the RAID. None of the other file systems work with such checks and furthermore, even during a file system check right after a sudden blackout, none of them can discover silently corrupted files. In comparison, ZFS won't crash after an electrical power failure and the regular checksum monitoring makes a lenghty file system check unnecessary.
